Allan grew up in Brooklyn, New York, where he was introduced to music from a young age. He had perfect pitch as a child and showed remarkable talent. He began playing the piano at just three years old, impressing audiences with his performances of Beethoven, Mozart, and Bach, which earned him recognition as a child prodigy. Encouraged by his mother, he learned to play classical music by ear. As a teenager, Allan attended the Performing Arts High School, now known as LaGuardia High School, in New York City, where his passion for classical music deepened. He participated in competitions and recitals and contributed to his local church, honing his skills as a pianist. After graduating high school, he enrolled at the University of Buffalo, and later moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where he currently lives with his family. In Atlanta, Allan has collaborated with various groups and duos, performing at venues such as the Atlanta Jazz Festival and Grant Park Festival, as well as other local events. He is married to Michelle, and they have four children.

Currently, Allan serves as the music director at Smyrna Presbyterian Church in Smyrna, Georgia, where he also teaches private piano lessons and performs at events and local venues, alongside his weekly ministry work at churches. He enjoys consulting with other ministries on their worship practices, assisting them in selecting material that directs people toward God. He works with worship teams composed of individuals from diverse ages, backgrounds, and musical experiences, providing guidance to those leading and nurturing volunteer groups within their churches. Allan challenges them to uphold high standards of service, musicianship, involvement, preparation, ministry, and commitment.

Allan's piano playing incorporates a unique improvisational style, enhancing his musical progressions. His intricate layering of chords captivates listeners, creating a beautifully harmonious sound. If you find yourself in the Atlanta area, be sure to check out where he’s performing.
